  Expensive, food was average at best, pretty terrible actually. Lovely gardens and certainly pretty. Service was constantly at you, you just were not able to relax as they asked you was everything ok, plates were whisked away as if they wanted us out. Just not relaxing, almost to the point of being unfriendly. We live locally and have been going for a number of years but have finally given up.

  I attended a wedding at the Eltham pantry where the food was great, the staff were friendly and the set up was fantastic. It was a very relaxed, small and tame wedding and everyone was happy just standing around talking.

  Beautiful cafe with breathtaking views of their pecan farm. The cafe has a lovely breakfast menu and a great variety of little cakes and pastries l. They also have a little store selling pecans, jams and other local giftwares. The big breakfast was hearty, very tasty and generously portioned. Highly recommended this cafe, great relaxing spot for a bit of breakfast, lunch or just afternoon tea.

  Unfortunately at the end of the night I was disappointed in the way we rushed out of the venue in a very abrupt way. We were told that we needed to be out originally at 10.30-11pm which is fine because I understand the restrictions that are in place. But the staff started packing up at 9pm and the vibe of wanting us out was very clear. People were even asked to stand up out of their seats because they wanted to pack the chairs away, the wine glasses were packed up so we needed to use paper cups, the fire we were standing around was extinguished by water so the smoke went up in our faces, the lights and music was turned off and we were literally given minutes warning to be out and even followed to make sure we were on the bus and out of there (which was 10pm on the dot) The way we were spoken to was very unwelcoming and even to the point of being rude. It was a complete 360 degree turn from the attitude at the start of the night. It was a shame that such a beautiful wedding was ended quickly and disrespectfully.
